one year ago today, you, tony, woke me up to the fact that the governing body could not have jehovah's blessing or direction.. last year, on november 8th & 9th, 2014, the united states branch visit was broadcast to over 1,000,000 jehovah's witnesses across the country.. as i sat at the kingdom hall listening to the "historic occasion," i was ignoring certain doubts that had surfaced in the few months prior.

Possible reason for cancellation of book study in homes.

i've only told two people about this (one being john cedars) for fear of getting this guy into trouble, but it's very telling and will reaffirm your "ttatt faith!
a couple of weeks ago, i had to have an "ability to protect" assessment by a gentleman from a company that also investigates child protection policies etc.

Moving the book study to the Kingdom Halls because of high petro prices??? That was a ludicrous reason. Who do they think they were kidding??
If anything, the most of the rank and file were too lazy to walk a few blocks to their nearest house for a the book study. Then they were moving the book study even further away, to the kingdom halls. Then they call high petro prices, I'm sure many didn't believe it was because of high petro prices. Most, if not anyone, had to travel twice, if not three times as far to the kingdom hall as they would to someone's house for the book study.

Growing up and being raised in the Borg has to be one of the most troubling & confusing time for a young person/adolescent. You keep hearing both sides of the Borg's mouth and when school time comes you are supposed to share your thoughts. Confusing!! To say the least. I mean what are you supposed to believe in? Yeah, that's what I thought about moving the book study to the KH's, it was a liability issue. To avoid any legal problems. -
